The Procurement Coordinator is at the forefront of LHG's procurement and contract management activities, playing a vital role in shaping our organisation's success, providing comprehensive financial insights and conducting rigorous analysis. Additionally, the Procurement Coordinator plays a crucial role in developing corporate partnerships and driving commercially based projects, contributing to LHG's operational excellence and long-term success. This role goes beyond traditional procurement functions; it's about building relationships, driving innovation, and ensuring the best possible outcomes for LHG. Key Responsibilities Select vendors and suppliers through compliant processes, ensuring pricing aligns with budgetary goals. Lead contract negotiations, maintain contract databases, and enforce guidelines for compliance. Manage fleet procurement, servicing, and disposal, including handling insurance claims. Enhance procurement function, analyse supplier proposals for cost-effectiveness, and ensure compliance with organizational policies. About You Tertiary qualifications in supply chain management, commerce, or related fields, or equivalent experience – Preferred . Membership of a procurement or commerce-related profession – Desirable . Strong negotiation skills, including effective articulation of negotiation strategies. Ability to think strategically and optimize processes through IT systems. Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities for stakeholder engagement. Experienced in coordinating, and delivering contracts. Experience in establishing strong supplier relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Previous experience in aged care – Desirable . Candidates may be subject to requiring current NDIS worker clearance.
