Job Description About the role We are currently recruiting for a Procurement Coordinator to join our team at our Emerald Cotton Gin site.
This is a full-time position requiring a person who is mechanically minded.
The Procurement Coordinator key purpose is to assist the Gin Site Manager with stock and parts procurement, inventory management, inventory stock-takes, auditing and other duties associated with site management.
The duties will mainly be administrative based with high levels of reporting, monitoring and follow up.
Responsibilities (but not limited to): Ordering/procuring parts and services (including price monitoring)Coordinating parts and materials to work orders and requestsAudit and review discrepancies with inventory reportingInventory management, stock takes and reconciliationsReporting of utility usage (electricity, water, fuel and gas) on a daily/weekly/monthly basisCarries out monthly WHS and Housekeeping AuditsMaintain the premises in clean, tidy and safe conditionAssist with employee rosteringAssist in the plant where and when neededPrior experience working in a parts, production or industrial environmentRobust reporting experience with demonstrated attention to detailWorking within a strict safe work environmentProficient in Microsoft Suite programsForklift Licence and Loader competency certificatePrior experience in parts and inventory reconciliationsMechanical, maintenance and/or electrical knowledgeMachine OperationBenefits of working at LDC: Work for a global, leading commodities companyDiscounted health insurance options availableNovated car leasing after probation periodAccess to Employee Assistance ProgramsAdditional Information LDC is an equal opportunity employer committed to providing a working environment that embraces and values diversity and inclusion.
