About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and driven Procurement Coordinator to join our team. In this key role, you will manage the day-to-day procurement activities, ensuring all processes are compliant with organisational policies, legal requirements, and industry best practices. You will oversee our Vendor Management System (VMS), foster stakeholder collaboration, and support the delivery procurement outcomes while maintaining the highest standards of transparency, probity, and risk management.
Key Responsibilities: Lead procurement activities, ensuring compliance and best practices. Manage procurement systems, ensuring accurate records and an audit trail. Act as probity officer, overseeing ethical and transparent processes. Develop and maintain procurement templates. Oversee VMS for supplier engagement, management and data-driven decision-making. Support team development and continuous improvement. About You: You are an organised, detail-oriented professional with a proven ability to manage procurement processes, build strong stakeholder relationships, and mentor teams. You have strong understanding of a wide range of entity types and contract execution. You are proficient in procurement systems, and your technical and analytical skills allow you to handle multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
Qualifications and Experience: Tertiary degree in Commerce, Law, Business, Procurement, or a related discipline, and/or equivalent experience. Expertise in procurement and contract management systems. Strong interpersonal skills for fostering collaboration. Excellent technical and analytical abilities for procurement metrics.
