Public Sector People is partnering with our client, a renowned local council, to find a dynamic Procurement & Contracts Business Partner.
About The Role
As a Procurement & Contracts Business Partner, you will be at the forefront of delivering procurement and contract management advice, documentation, training, and support across the organisation. You will build and maintain effective business partnering relationships with Project Services, Operations, and other key stakeholders. Your role will involve coordinating tender advice, documentation, training, and support across the organisation, as well as documenting and implementing an ongoing contractor management assurance program within your business streams.
Key Responsibilities
Provide procurement and contract management advice, documentation, training, and support across the organisation.
Build and maintain effective business partnering relationships with Project Services, Operations, and other key stakeholders.
Coordinate the provision of tender advice, documentation, training, and support across the organisation.
Document and implement an ongoing contractor management assurance program with your business streams.
Qualifications
Fed/State/Local Government experience highly regarded OR
Previous experience in a similar role within the public sector or a large to mid-scale entity.
Proven experience with capital works and a solid understanding of AS4000 contracts.
End-to-end tendering and business partnering experience.
