This position ensures that the City's centrally led procurement model delivers effective, efficient and compliant processes, with a focus on systems, service delivery and improvement.To be successful in this position you will need to demonstrate:
A relevant tertiary qualification in procurement and contracting, commerce or related field, and/or significant industry experience.Knowledge and understanding of contract law.High level consultancy and negotiation skills.Time management and organisational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines, and prioritise complex and demanding work.Experience in procurement as it relates to competitive tendering, expressions of interest, quotations and contract management.Current National Police Clearance.Experience within Local Government is desirable but not essential.Previous experience using TechnologyOne software is advantageous.Ready to ApplyIf you're ready to be a part of our diverse and progressive team, please submit an online application using the 'Apply Here' button on the City's website.
