The IT Contract and Vendor Manager is responsible for managing relationships with third-party IT vendors, sourcing vendors for various projects, and overseeing contract management and financials. This role works closely with technical teams to identify vendor requirements, negotiates contracts, and ensures effective vendor performance to meet project and organisational needs.
Key Responsibilities: Build and maintain strong relationships with IT vendors to ensure quality service delivery.Work with technical teams to identify and select vendors for various IT projects.Provide consulting on sourcing requirements and collaborate with the Procurement team.Negotiate vendor contracts, renewals, and changes to ensure best value.Manage financial aspects of contracts, ensuring adherence to budgets and cost control.Monitor industry trends and conduct vendor research to stay informed on emerging technologies.Oversee multiple vendor relationships, ensuring alignment with project timelines and goals.Apply project and risk management skills to ensure successful outcomes.Ensure compliance with relevant procurement practices and regulations.Required Skills and Qualifications: Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) for vendor and team collaboration.Proven ability to develop and manage vendor relationships.Strong negotiation and critical thinking skills.Financial management experience related to contracts and vendor services.Proficiency in project management and risk management.Familiarity with government or corporate procurement practices.In-depth knowledge of IT technologies, licensing, and tools.Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.Christina Lawrence Talent Partner Experis State Director NSW/QLD/ACT ManpowerGroup is committed to being a Diversity Confident Recruiter and encourages applications from people from a diverse range of backgrounds, including people with a disability.
