Procurement, Contract and General Administration OfficerTransport Canberra and City Services – Canberra ACT
Details: Roads ACT is seeking a highly motivated person, with suitable qualifications and the ability to work with minimal direction to perform the role of Procurement, Contract and General Administration Officer, within the Works team.
This position's primary function is to provide administrative support to the Roads ACT Works team to deliver complex works procurements, assist with contract variations, reporting, and to support Roads ACT business units to manage contracts and meet various reporting requirements. The role is a critical function to sustain compliance with the TCCS Procurement and Contract Management Framework. The role is focused on maximising documentation quality, leading to improved service delivery outcomes. The role also includes general administration tasks such as collating evidence for insurance claims and responding to requests for information.

Eligibility/Other Requirements: Visa holders are eligible to apply for both permanent and temporary roles. Those with eligible visas may be considered for permanent employment, while individuals with temporary residency or limited-duration visas may be offered permanent employment for the duration of their visas.Driver's licence (C Class) is essential.Procurement, contract management and administration skills are essential.Business administration qualification is highly desirable.This position does not require a Working with Vulnerable People Check.This position does not require a pre-employment medical.Notes: A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months. Opportunities for flexible working options could include hybrid working, being a combination of working from home, designated office based and FlexiSpace working locations across the ACT, part-time hours, job-sharing, flexible start, and finish times.
