This business is on an exciting growth trajectory with more expansion-related projects underway - now is a great time to join this business.The OpportunityWe are currently seeking a Procurement Category Specialist to be responsible for supporting the business with the efficient delivery of effective procurement, logistics, contract management, and fleet activities for external goods & services.This is a key role within the Strategic Procurement Team supporting strategic procurement business partners and Commercial Managers with the delivery of commercial activities such as market engagements, development of category plans and business cases, performance management of suppliers, and opportunities for innovation.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose business needs, and design, develop and execute effective sourcing strategies.Conduct opportunity assessments and develop business cases – including gathering data from reporting sources.Gather key data for negotiations with suppliers.Manage categories and demand.Oversee supplier management.Conduct reviews and prepare contracts.The Successful CandidateThis role will appeal to someone who has some experience in a procurement function and is now looking to take a step up.
