Work will be performed in line with company values and in accordance with the Santos Management System.Key responsibilities will include:Lead and manage sourcing and contract management activities for assigned procurement category across all assets to deliver sustained value to the company.Deliver end to end contracting and procurement requirements for key category – Engineering Services, circa $95m pa spend.Achieve stakeholder requirements addressing growth, supply security and social licence imperatives at lowest total cost.Use initiative, industry knowledge and best practice concepts to develop and execute sourcing plans which provide sustainable advantage and contribute to the attainment of Santos' lowest cost operator goals.Identify category improvement opportunities and initiatives through effective category planning and stakeholder engagement and positively contribute to the implementation of initiatives.Work collaboratively (and with influence) with key stakeholders to ensure business needs are understood and project strategies aligned.Develop and lead complex negotiations with contractors and coach negotiation teams to ensure a united approach.Proactively engage with assigned category core and strategic market suppliers.Seek, promote and support procurement functional efficiency opportunities.Ensure security of supply through effective risk identification and mitigation.About YouTo be successful in this role you will have the following key attributes:Procurement experience and expert knowledge in Procurement, Category Management and/or Strategic Sourcing.Certificate/Member status of CIPS or equivalent.Refer to Supply Chain Competency Framework matrix for definitions of competency and levels.Ability to problem solve and a high level of attention to detail.Strong computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office suite.Excellent communication skills both verbal and in writing.Mandatory Tickets / Quals / CertsA degree in Business, Engineering, Logistics & Supply Chain, Commerce or Law.Significant experience in oil and gas or similar industry.How to ApplyTo apply, please visit this link.Your explicit acceptance of the Chandler Macleod Privacy Policy is required as part of our application process.
