Job Description The Opportunity Salary: $89,000 - $100,000 p.a + super We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Procurement Business Partner to join our team. This role requires someone with abundant energy, a positive disposition, and exceptional business acumen. Are you ready to take on this exciting opportunity?
A day on the job will see you: Assisting business units develop Requests for Quote / Tender and Expressions Sourcing responses to Tenders and Quotes (over $50k) from Tenders WA. Responding requests for information from Suppliers during request processes. Keeping up to date Tenders WA and internal Contract Management Systems and Document Control Systems. Assist Manager during Audits (internal and external). Lead the process for evaluation of responses to quotes and tenders. Making recommendations for the procurement of goods and services as per RWWA requirements. Working with Team Leader and Manager to ensure procurement activities are delivered in a timely manner. Assisting purchasers raise PO's in line with budget and contract requirements. Undertaking tasks as directed by Team Leader and Manager as required. Ensuring procurement activities adhere to RWWA Procurement Policy and Framework. Ensuring procurement activities adhere to State Government Rules and Legislation. Providing advice to business units on procurement strategies. Qualifications About You Ideally to be successful in this role you will need:
Tertiary qualification in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or relevant area (desirable). Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role Understanding of procurement processes, policies, systems. Proficient computer skills including MS Office suite and CMS. Ability to prioritise, multitask and manage time efficiently. Comfortable working in a team or by oneself. Accurate with a high level of attention to detail.
