This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between procurement and business operations. You will manage and prioritize procurement activities and ensure the alignment of business and procurement strategies.As a business partner, you will advocate for the business, manage commercial risks, and drive excellence within the supply base.This is a 12-month contract opportunity.Reporting to the Head of Procurement, you will be responsible for:Acting as the primary procurement representative and first point of contact for the business.Understanding and communicating business needs, insights, local constraints, and regulations to category management teams.Leading the implementation of sourcing strategies at the business level, ensuring business buy-in and communicating the value delivered by procurement.Identifying, understanding, and proactively managing risks to the business.Providing procurement insights to support business decisions.Working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive and integrated procurement strategies, encouraging open communication and shared goals.Promoting a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement within the procurement team.About YouYou are an excellent negotiator and project/change manager with strong commercial acumen, consultative skills, and proven strategic abilities.You have demonstrated success in delivering competitive advantages through the development and implementation of procurement strategies.A relevant degree and solid experience in a multinational or complex local environment will be essential for your success in this role.You will have the chance to work with an outstanding and highly engaged team, building and growing your career with an inclusive, global FMCG leader.Applicants must have full Australian working rights.
