About the role: The Procurement & Supply Chain Senior Analytics & Insights Leader is responsible for leading the strategic advancement of procurement and supply chain analytics, systems, and insights.
Driving the development and implementation of data-driven strategies and architectures to optimise business processes.
Harnessing market and operational data to provide actionable insights and recommendations, influencing short and long-term strategies.
Ensuring robust information and data management practices, fostering compliance and best practices.
Champion process automation and system configuration management initiatives to enhance efficiency and reliability.
Manage analytics and systems team performance, stakeholder relationships, and partnerships to achieve operational excellence and maximise organisational benefits across procurement and supply chain functions.
About you: 6-10 years' experience leading analytics within a procurement and supply chain function in a medium to large size business.1-2 years' experience leading and mentoring a small team of purchasing professionals by setting clear objectives, providing regular feedback and coaching, implementing corrective actions, reporting performance metrics to senior management, and fostering a collaborative, high-performance team culture.Proficiency using business systems including ERP, Source to Pay systems and the Microsoft Suite (incl.
Word, Excel & PowerPoint).Proficiency in writing SQL queries to extract and manipulate data for procurement and supply chain analysis.Advanced proficiency in using Microsoft Power BI to develop procurement and supply chain reports and dashboards for enhanced decision-making and operational visibility.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for complex data analysis, including pivot tables, macros, and advanced functions.
