ABOUT THE ROLE As a Procurement & Inventory Lead, you will be setting the standards for and supervising the procurement team to deliver the procurement functions, supplier relationships, and stock management processes to support the operations of the department, ensuring high customer service levels and the achievement of best value for the organisation.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING Lead and mentor the procurement team, providing training support to enhance their capabilities and performance.Develop and implement internal procedures to optimize procurement efficiency, aligning with the company's cost-effectiveness strategy and commercial objectives.Manage the Invitation to Tender (ITT) process, including the preparation of tender lists, documents, and recommendations for award, ensuring a thorough and well-executed process.Oversee raw materials and parts procurement, ensuring timely remittance and delivery, while proactively identifying and addressing potential risks through mitigation solutions.Cultivate and sustain relationships with existing vendors, as well as identify new vendors to meet emerging needs, while making informed commercial evaluations and technical clarifications during the tender phase.Communicate and liaise with Zijin Group's purchasing personnel and connect with Zijin Group's purchasing management platform.WHAT YOU WILL NEED Fluent bilingual communication (written and spoken) skills with English and Mandarin, highly regarded.Tertiary qualifications in Commerce or relevant fields, highly regarded.Proven leadership/management experience, preferably within the procurement team.Proven end-to-end procurement experience, preferably within the resources sector.Experience using Pronto is highly regarded.Competent user of MS Office suite and other relevant supply chain software and applications.Ability to calculate costs of procurement and suggest methods to decrease expenditure.BENEFITS Receive $12k residential allowance per annum.Receive up to 15% short-term incentive payment (STIP) of your base salary.A fully covered family private health insurance through GU Health Complete Gold Cover or an allowance of $4.8k.Receive $2.4k allowance to put towards your choice of Death and Total & Permanent Disability (TPD) insurance.Pro-rata long service leave (LSL) after just 5 years of service and be entitled to 13 weeks paid LSL after 10 years of service.Opportunities for learning and development through various training programs provided by the company.Work in a team with a growth mindset, ensuring you are able to bring out your best.APPLY NOW...
