Procurement And Fleet Officer

Support our procurement and fleet team with this part time flexible work arrangement!Part time 6-month opportunity$39.21 - $45.68 per hour (dependent on experience) + superannuationThis position is part time due to a work flex arrangement.
It will be split across two people, with the progressed applicant having the choice to work either: Three full days, two of these days are required to be on site.Two full days, with two half days.
The two full days are required to be on site.This position will be reviewed at the end of the 12-month term About the roleOur Procurement and Fleet Officer is responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support across two key areas: procurement and fleet management.
You will manage systems, coordinate processes, and provide training and guidance to staff, all while ensuring the efficient functioning of procurement and fleet operations.
Other responsibilities include: Administering and maintaining the Computron Purchasing SystemMaintaining, updating and reviewing the purchasing and fleet manualsUndertaking periodical auditing of procurement activities to ensure efficient outcomesMaintaining, training and administrating of new staff members into the fleet systemsProviding support to staff on Procurement Policy and ProceduresAssisting with the updating of the Fleet Policy and ProceduresAbout youDo you have solid understanding of procurement and fleet systems, along with strong administrative and communication skills?
You'll need to be great at managing your time and staying organised, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Whether you're working independently or collaborating with a small team, you'll thrive in both environments.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable interpreting policies and procedures and able to clearly explain them to staff.
The following is also required: Tertiary qualification in a related field or less formal qualifications with relevant purchasing experience Proficiency in software applications such as Microsoft office suiteCurrent Victorian Driver's LicenseAbility to interpret Policies and Procedures and be able to disseminate accurate and clear advice to achieve compliance to those Policies and ProceduresNot meeting all the requirements for this role?
