Details of the offer

Key Accountabilities Promote and apply the ACT government's Procurement Framework, including legislation, policies, guidelines and procedures. Manage procurement process including development of documentation in accordance with CIT policy and procedure. Provide advice and support to CIT staff for procurement and contract management activities. Participate in strategic planning and coordination for procurement and contract management activities. Develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Procurement ACT, and CIT contract managers. Undertake other duties in relation to the position. Key Requirements Sound knowledge, understanding and experience of procurement and contract management guidelines, procedures, and frameworks in a government context. Demonstrated experience in procurement and contract management activities, including an understanding of procurement and contract administration. Sound judgement, negotiation, written and oral communication skills and an ability to liaise effectively with staff, management, and external agencies. Ability to work under limited direction, including experience in planning, prioritising and organising work for self and others to achieve goals and deadlines. Tertiary qualifications, or progress towards qualifications in Procurement and Contract Management disciplines highly desirable. Previous Experience working within the ACTGOV procurement guidelines.
