The role of ICT Category Management and Sourcing is to provide leadership for the establishment and ongoing success of ICT Category management practices including market analysis and government spend analysis. Engage with industry and stakeholders to promote and further the government's ICT procurement reform agenda. Establish Whole of Government contracts, Standing Offer Arrangements, and supply panels. Establish and maintain beneficial partnerships with our agency customers. Use best practice contract management methodologies to ensure our contracts meet government expectations and deliver anticipated benefits. Provide subject matter expertise and governance for Whole of Government and departmental contract management and procurement activities.
As Procurement and Contracts Officer, you will establish Standing Offer Arrangements (SOA) including negotiating terms, conditions, and commercials with multiple vendors, drafting SOAs, evaluating tenders, and preparing contracts for execution. Prepare and maintain procurement documentation such as Buyer's Guides, Fact sheets, and other contract artefacts. Provide high-quality and timely contract administration. Prepare reports on supplier and contract performance and benefits. Undertake work practices in line with the requirements of the One Government Contract Management Framework. Participate in whole-of-government ICT category management activities, including procurement, vendor, and contract management operational processes. Facilitate effective communications and foster relationships with and between internal and external stakeholders. Respond to enquiries and provide a high level of customer support through management of a range of communications channels.
