Procurement and Contract Officer
Full-time TemporaryDetails: Roads ACT is looking for candidates that have high-level experience procuring infrastructure related programs and projects. The role is best suited to candidates with a tertiary qualification and/or experience in procurement, project management or contract management.
The role will ensure established procurement procedures are followed (Whole-of-Government procurement legislation/policies and TCCS Procurement and Contract Management Frameworks) in collaboration with Program Directors within Roads ACT and TCCS Legal and Contracts team.
As a senior leader within TCCS, this role requires a person who can inspire, energise, and positively influence team and individual outcomes. The role is responsible for preparing procurement and contract documentation for procurements (Goods and Services as well as Construction) and stakeholder management. Effective people engagement skills are a key enabler in the performance of this role as is a values based leadership style.

Eligibility/other requirements: To be eligible for permanent employment within the ACT Public Service you must be an Australian citizen or a permanent resident.Individuals on visas with Australian working rights are eligible to apply for temporary non-ongoing roles.Driver's licence (C-Class) is desirable.Qualification and/or experience in procurement/project management/contract management is desirable.Demonstrated infrastructure procurement experience is desirable.Relevant infrastructure related industry experience is highly desirable.This position does not require a pre-employment medical.This position does not require a Working with Vulnerable People Check.Notes: This is a temporary position available immediately for 3 months with the possibility of extension up to 9 months. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only.
