This role requires someone who enjoys working with data and is comfortable using it to drive improvements in procurement processes. You'll join a collaborative team that values teamwork and offers strong support from procurement specialists and data experts. We are seeking a Procurement Analyst to join our client's team for an initial 12-month contract, with potential for extension. This role will support procurement activities for a large volume of goods and spare parts across Australia, with a focus on data analysis and improving procurement processes. Key Responsibilities: Interpret and analyse high volumes of spend data to support category objectives and improve procurement outcomes. Manage SAP outline agreements and material master data to enhance transactional efficiency and data integrity. Collaborate closely with Category Specialists on data consolidation and trend analysis, providing insights to drive decision-making. Implement automation tools and streamline processes, particularly around price file management and requests for quotes. Work with stakeholders to provide detailed spend reporting and interactive dashboards using Power BI, improving visibility and enabling better procurement decisions. Key Skills & Experience: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced) and Power BI, with experience handling large data sets for stakeholder use. Familiarity with SAP is advantageous but not essential. Strong analytical skills, with a focus on data interpretation and providing actionable insights. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities, with a proactive approach to understanding team needs. Prior experience in procurement, data analysis, or a commercial environment, ideally working with large datasets. A background in FMCG or similar industries would be beneficial.
