Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for procurement excellence?
Join Sunwater as our Procurement Advisor - ICT in the Corporate Procurement team.
You will report to the Principal Procurement Advisor - ICT and you will partner with the business in delivering fundamental procurement activities including, but not limited to, end-to-end sourcing and tendering activities, category and supplier management, procurement planning, contract development, negotiation and award and procurement reporting.
You will also: Undertake research, spend, and market analysis to secure value for money opportunities; Develop market engagement strategies, prepare RFx procurement documentation, facilitate contract and scope development, undertake evaluations, and prepare recommendation documentation to facilitate contract award; and Negotiate directly with key internal and external stakeholders during the procurement process to achieve the best value for money outcomes.
We are seeking a talented individual with demonstrated technical skills in end-to-end procurement and at least 3 – 5 years' experience in a similar role (ICT sector highly desirable).
You will have experience in pre-contract sourcing activities, contract formation, establishment of panel arrangements/management and data analytics experience.
Experience working with a Government Owned Corporations (GOC)/ Queensland Government and environments will be highly desirable.
In addition, you will have: Excellent Communication Skills – strong business writing skills, high attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
Collaborative - able to build and maintain effective and collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Adaptable - ability to work both autonomously and in a team environment, and have a can-do proactive attitude.
