Procurement Advisor, Business Operations Support Employment Type: Ongoing & Non-ongoing Classification: APS Level 5 ($85,633 - $91,549) Flexible Work: Flexible working arrangements will be considered.
The Opportunity: The National Indigenous Australians Agency (NIAA) is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic candidate with demonstrated commercial and/or procurement experience to join our Central Procurement Team.
As a valued member of the Procurement team, you will work closely with line areas across the Agency to provide advice and support on a vast range of procurement activities with varied levels of complexity.
You will use your procurement expertise to provide best practice advice to staff regarding policy and legislation as well as assisting with probity and contract management queries.
You will help build Agency capability and strengthen confidence in utilising all aspects of the procurement framework.
In addition, you will also play a major role in supporting procurement related reporting activities including key Aus Tender and Senate Order reporting.
As the Procurement Advisor you will: Provide expert advice on procurement policies and practices.
Support contract management and probity processes.
Assist in procurement reporting activities.

This position is required to liaise with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, communities and service providers.
