As expected, safety is of the utmost importance and forms part of the expert training that will be provided on a day shift.
Upon completion of training, you will move to a fortnightly, 7-day rotating roster.
About the Process Worker rolePrevious experience in an assembly or manufacturing environment operating machinery is an advantage.
However, if you have great hand-eye coordination, can work at a fast pace, and are safety conscious, then you may be considered for this role.
In addition: Are reliable and respectful towards others Demonstrate a positive and motivated work ethic Attention to detail is a must with a high level of accuracy Be willing to learn and be trained for success Mechanical aptitude is an advantage Must be able to display a high level of dexterity Must be able to obtain an Explosives Licence including a high level Police Clearance Have a reliable car and current driver's licence. About the role: This role will focus on running the EBS machine and associated workstations Set up and operate equipment in accordance with work instructions & procedures Loading coiled wire onto machinery Crimping of detonators onto wire assembly Packing assembled product into boxes in required formats Quality & inspections and recording Perform basic mathematical equations and basic report writing Ensure all operations are performed to procedures and WHS and environmental requirements Benefits: Above award hourly rate Opportunity to go from casual to permanent Ongoing and extensive training opportunities Extremely safe working environment.
