Process Worker/Factory Worker

The role would better suit a strong person and mechanically minded, as there is a bit of heavy lifting with 10kg bags (finished goods, palletising, raw material handling) and also the mixing/rolling task.

JOB DESCRIPTION Tasks and duties Learn all tasks on production line - from mixing to packing, palletisingMaintaining a high standard of safety and hygiene in the workplace.Preparing and maintaining production reports and records.Operating machinery and maintaining equipmentFollowing set production schedules and targetsPerforming corrective actions when production quality is not met.Packing and repacking items when necessary.Report faults or production issues to the ManagerMaintain high standard of personal hygieneProficient in English (spoken and written)Must have a Police checkPhysically fit (some heavy lifting involved with raw materials)Completed relevant vocation studies in food manufacturingSkills Previous experience as a production workerGood understanding of how production equipment worksAbility to detect potential problems with machineryKnowledge of basic safety rulesAbility to lift heavy loads and transfer them manuallyGood communication and teamwork skillsTeam player
