Australian Gold Reagents (AGR) is a joint venture between CSBP Limited ("CSBP") (75 percent) and Coogee Chemicals Pty Ltd (25 percent).
CSBP, a 100% owned subsidiary of Wesfarmers Limited is the operating and sales agent for AGR.
We are a producer of a reagent located in Kwinana, Western Australia and have safely and reliably manufactured and supplied our reagent to gold mines in Western Australia since 1988 and to gold and silver mines internationally since 2002.

About the role We are seeking experienced Process Technicians with proven leadership skills to play a key role in running our Sodium Cyanide plant.
You will receive training and support to become a key player in our business.
As part of a skilled team, you will be dedicated to the safe operation and maintenance of plant and equipment, whilst looking for opportunities to meet goals and continually improve the business.
Key responsibilities will include: Working autonomously to ensure safe and reliable plant operationPrioritising your safety, and the safety of others in all practicesCarrying out all work according to environmental policies and proceduresPlant start-ups & shutdowns, and achieving plant utilisation and production targetsProblem solving of plant issues and contributing to process improvementsEnsure accurate record keeping of shift reports, equipment isolations and work ordersDo you have the following skills and experience? A minimum of 3 years experience in chemical manufacturing, oil & gas or mining operations is essential.Strong demonstrated focus on safetySound communication skills with the ability to build and maintain positive working relationshipsExcellent analytical skills and the capability to work autonomously without supervisionAbility to carry out duties in accordance with documented proceduresExperience in permit to work and other relevant safe work systemsCertificate III/IV in Process Plant Operations or working towards one would be advantageous.Previous DCS/Control room experience will be highly regardedTo be successful for this role you will be willing to work flexibly and open to working various shift rosters across teams.
