Lynas Rare Earths has a 12-month fixed term opportunity for an Experienced Process Technician to join our team at the Kalgoorlie Rare Earth Processing Facility (REPF).
The Kalgoorlie REPF is a key strategic platform for critical mineral production, blending pyrometallurgical and hydrometallurgical process in an Australian first, mineral processing plant.
A sustainable business, our products are used in many future facing applications.A residential living lifestyle with family friendly 7 on, 7 off roster.Immediate start (pending pre-employment checks and approvals)The Opportunity: We're looking for an experienced Process Technician and/or Control Room Operator to join us on our journey and expand their processing knowledge.
This 12-month fixed term role, which reports to the Processing Shift Supervisor, will be responsible for the day to day running of the processing plant, including taking ownership of operating areas.
Our various areas will include kiln operation, leaching, reagent handling, water treatment, filtration and control room. This role will also include some management of the various processing bulk materials used throughout the processing plant.
This role is offered on a Kalgoorlie-Goldfields residential basis only, working an even time 7/7 rotating roster of day and night shifts, 12 hour shifts.

Your responsibilities will include: The safe day-to-day operation of the processing plant including:Control Room operationSafe Isolation and Permitting processesContributing to the development of safe working proceduresEnsure a safe working environment is maintainedIdentification and control of hazards and housekeeping.Required skills and experience: Extensive experience in a processing plant environmentControl room, Isolation, and/or Permit to Work operational experienceUnwavering approach to safetyValue teamwork and being a team playerStrong time management and problem-solving skillsetsConstruction Industry Induction (White Card)Current High Risk Work License (WA)Must reside within the Goldfields region for our residential siteNote: Our REPF operates under a Respirator Policy, therefore clear sealable requirements to the respirator will be required, eg clean shaven, clear of piercings.The relevant machinery with our technicians utilize include:
