Process Shift Supervisor

Role Details:Reporting to the Coordinator: Processing, you will be responsible for leading and managing the operation of the Processing Crew on a shift-to-shift basis to achieve budgeted production, meeting all quality standards including cost, safety and environment.As an employee at Gold Fields, we expect all levels of employees to act in a manner that seeks to align and enhance the values, safety culture, and performance of Gold Fields with the purpose of creating enduring value beyond mining.This role is offered on an 8 days on 6 days off, 7 nights on 7 days off roster and is Fly in Fly out from Perth.Benefits include:6% Site AllowancePrivate Health Insurance AllowanceQuarterly Bonus SchemeIncreased annual leave entitlementsSalary sacrifice optionsLong service leave pro rata after 5 years of continuous serviceEmployee Assistance ProgramAbout the role:Provide effective and strong leadership for the development of the crew;Monitor progress of assigned tasks and address any issues;Identify and prioritise improvement opportunities and formulate alternatives to systems and methods;Assist the Coordinators with implementation of change management initiatives and other projects;Daily Maintenance workflow supervision of the crew;Liaise with Metallurgists regarding operating parameters and technical issues in relation to plant operation and communicate to relevant operators;Ensure your crews have clearly defined accountabilities, roles, and development plans;Assist with planning of maintenance, budgets, plans and projects.About you:Valid Western Australian manual Driver's LicenceProven supervisory experience in a mineral process plant - preferably goldExcellent communication skillsExperience using Microsoft Office & mining software including SAP highly desirableSound mechanical aptitudeFirst Aid Training is desirableApplications can be submitted via:https://careers.goldfields.com/AustraliaGold Fields is committed to promoting an inclusive workforce.
