About the role: We are looking for a Process Safety Support Advisor to join our Process Safety team at the Lytton Refinery to provide support and maintain core process safety, quality and management of change processes managed by the process safety team. This role provides support to develop and deliver process improvement initiatives particularly in Refinery's Safety Assessment process and management of change and it is a great opportunity for fresh graduates or young professionals who want to develop their skills in the engineering space. Key responsibilities: Support with the Safety Assessment processes including Bowtie, LOPA and SFARP workshops Managing Plant Risk Assessments and maintaining currency of registers. Develop improvement initiatives to facilitate appropriate review and adequate management of change (MOC) and Document Management System (DMS) Support development and implementation of Process Safety improvements initiatives Carry out basic incident investigations and support execution of internal and external desktop and field-based audits Communicate changes by updating hard copy documents, performing QA checks, updating reviewer / approver roles and document attachments in the Database Preparation of weekly actions reports and communications for Lytton Technical & Engineering teams. Reporting and preparation of deliverables to support rollout of improvement initiatives Engage with stakeholders to share information and gain understanding of operational performance Key Requirements: Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering Experience or interest in process design, process safety and risk mitigation with exposure to Oil Refining or Petrochemical Industries Experience in preparing reports and status updates for technical or engineering teams Understanding of Process Safety & Risk Management principles, including Management of Change (MOC) processes Ability to communicate changes clearly and effectively, both in hard copy documentation and within databases Experience with database management systems and document control software with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word, for reporting and document preparation We're an equal opportunity workplace.
