Roles and ResponsibilitiesLead the Process engineering team in concept principles through to design and engineeringLead the review of the existing process engineering practices to understand where, when and how we can improve.Ensure process designs meet required safety standards and actively participate in HAZOP studies and design reviewsDeliver best practice process designs in accordance with project, time, budget and technical requirementsDevelop innovative solutions to complex process and technical problemsPrepare process deliverables such as process design criteria, process flow diagrams, mass and energy balances, equipment sizing, piping and instrumentation diagrams, process control philosophies, operating cost estimates and study reportsAssist with business development activities and the preparation of proposal documentationInput to the CAD team to ensure all elements of the design process are incorporatedReview all CAD team outputs to ensure safety, quality and operation standards are met.Candidate RequirementsDegree Qualified in a Engineering field (Chemical Engineering an advantage)Strong understanding of the innovation process development strongly desiredAbility to review and correct drafting and modelling work completed by othersStrong communication skills, with an ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders and exchange necessary information with easeAdvanced skills with the standard features of the MS Office Suite, including SharePointAbility to mathematically model process scenarios and engage others through the processModel process maps to show situational scenariosGenerate P&ID's and PFD's and coach the process engineering team on how to do the sameEnthusiastic, high level of energy, goal driven and tenaciousAbility to work well within a team environmentMust have 10 + years process engineering experience in a design and execute environmentExperience with process supply partners advantageousRelevant process plant operational experienceExperience in CAD design relevant to Process engineering advantageousExperience with project management / organisational leadership beneficialExperience in working in a fast paced, multi-faceted technology environment
