About the role
Vinidex is looking for a 3rd or 4th year student engineer to perform work experience as a 3-month contract. You will support the PVC production teams and the engineering team.
What will you do? Work with the Engineering Processing and Production Teams to commission new production lines including developing concise commissioning plans, documenting material trials, data collection and creating SOPs to support production. Support the engineering team by specifying, quoting and documenting the design of new equipment installations. Support the Production team with troubleshooting. Commissioning lab equipment. Ensure and maintain safe workplace and work practices. About you
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Science related discipline.
- Experience with MS Office and CAD software.
- Practical experience in equipment commissioning and lab work.
- Problem solver with the ability to make decisions and deliver practical solutions.
- Team player that can communicate and collaborate across cross functional teams with all stakeholders.
