Process Engineer

Job DetailsAn established business (with over 100 years in operation) that is continuing to grow and diversify is looking to hire a Process Engineer on a permanent basis.Role: Process EngineerType: PermanentSalary: Depending on experienceLocation: Sydney South (Wollongong area)Responsibilities:Troubleshoot process issues using methods such as 'Root Cause Analysis'.Investigate and implement process improvement projects.Implement corrective actions.Review manufacturing processes for improvement opportunities.Develop, review, and monitor operating procedures.Provide technical support and coaching to operations personnel.Qualifications & Skills:Ideally Engineering qualification (Material, Process, Mechanical or Mechatronics).Experience in process improvement within manufacturing environment.Control systems experience beneficial (PLC, SCADA etc.).Strong analytical and diagnostic skills.Ideally an understanding around lean manufacturing principles.Strong communication skills (written and verbal).Proficient computer skills.Strong stakeholder management skills.If this position sounds of interest, please apply.
