Our client is leading in decarbonisation and growth agendas and developing a portfolio of projects centred on the production of renewable hydrogen, ammonia, minerals and other value-added products. Title: Process Engineer

Roster: 5/2 Roster (Mon to Fri)
In support of our client's strong focus on green energy and their carbon neutrality targets, one of their key initiatives will be in the projects whereby they will develop and test a range of technologies to power our mining fleet. Based out the new Redcliffe office facility and reporting to the Principal – Piping and Process Engineering, we are presently looking for an experienced Process Engineer to join the team Key accountabilities will include: Providing Process Engineering support to all hydrogen, and ammonia projects within Green Fleets portfolio in a safe, timely and sustainable mannerWorking in collaboration with the broader Engineering team as well as the project management and workshop execution teamsCapable of prioritizing and delivering work in a fast-moving environmentAbility to adjust to change quickly and adapt to new requirementsProactively deliver on the company's stretch targetsDevelop technical specifications and designs to meet project specific objectivesInterpret engineering drawings, documents, specifications, and scopesResolution of technical and design issuesEnsure compliance to the project management process by project ownersLiaising with a range of key stakeholders on all technical aspects of projectsProviding regular updates to the Project Manager including work progress, risks, and prioritiesDirect contact with design scopes involving fabrication, assembly, testing and commissioning of ammonia systemsQualifications and skills required: Chemical or Process engineering degree from an accredited college or universityAt least 3 years of experience with detailed design of process systems (sizing and selecting components, PFD, P&ID, H&MB, relief calculations etc…)Aspen Hysys simulation experience requiredAmmonia and Hydrogen process systems experience desiredUnderstanding of key suppliers and components in the market for ammonia and hydrogen systemsExperience with HAZID, HAZOP, and LOPAClear and calculated decision-making skillsHazardous area design and component selection experience desiredAbility to work across multiple work fronts in a high-pressure environmentProvenability to work with diverse stakeholders and in multidiscipline teamsHigh commitment to safetyExperience in preparing detailed scope of worksExperience participating / coordinating in a purchasing tender processExperience in contractor engagement and contractor management processExcellent interpersonal awareness with ability to work well in a teamProactive and self-motivated, with a drive for excellenceResults driven, responsible, and accountableSkilled in problem solving rapidlyTheir values drive the culture and performance througha strong focus on safety, family and determination.
