We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Process Engineer to join us in our Engineering and Planning team in Brisbane, QLD on a Permanent Full Time Contract.
Reporting to the Process Engineering and Optimisation Team Lead, you will play a key role in supporting the safe, secure, and efficient operation of APA's gas transmission assets within the business's Integrated Operations Centre.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver daily, front-line operational support to the Integrated Operating Centre (IOC) and Control Room team.
Conduct risk assessments, monitor safeguards, and communicate impacts across teams.
Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to various stakeholders.
Develop and embed operational guidance, drive knowledge transfer, and support operational plans.
Provide process engineering support to key internal teams, including the IOC and Market Services.
Your background
Tertiary qualification in Chemical Engineering that qualifies for corporate membership with the Institution of Chemical Engineers, Engineers Australia, or an equivalent body.
Proven experience in operational risk assessments, identifying, implementing, and monitoring safeguards.
Ability to understand, manage, and monitor risks within your scope of work.
Advanced computer literacy.
Strong skills in prioritising, tracking, and reprioritising tasks effectively.
Demonstrated ability to influence and manage stakeholders, with strong negotiation skills to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
