Process Engineer

The Opportunity
Veolia ANZ is seeking a Process Engineer
to join our team at our Woodlawn MBT site in Tarago 2580. As the Process Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the operations team with technical and process improvement.

What you'll be responsible for

Develop, control and monitor composting processes for Woodlawn Mechanical Biological Treatment Plant (MBT) and Food Organics Garden Organics (FOGO) Plant
Maintain plant environmental monitoring plan
Process data analysis and reporting
Providing technical and engineering support to the operations and project teams
Ensuring effective and optimal operation of equipment to achieve maximum efficiency
Diagnosing malfunctions in processes and instituting remedial action
Managing and analysing data for reporting purposes
Undertaking ad hoc projects to optimise the plant operations

What you'll need to be successful

Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent (Process/Chemical/Environmental Engineering)
Experience in automated plant operation
Experience in plant maintenance and systems management - desirable
Experience in solid waste processing and waste water treatment - highly regarded
Demonstrable experience in project management - desirable
Effective communication skills
Strong safety focus and understanding of WHS regulations specific to the area of work
Drivers Licence
