Job Opportunity: Process Engineer at Laminex Are you ready to make a significant impact on our manufacturing processes and drive continuous improvement at Laminex? We're searching for an experienced Process Engineer to join our team in Ballarat. This is a permanent, full-time position that is purely site-based, offering you the opportunity to work hands-on in our state-of-the-art facility.
What you'll be responsible for: In this role, you'll be responsible for the operational effectiveness and improvement of the Treating facility within the Ballarat site. You'll work closely with:
Manufacturing Manager Engineering and Technical Manager Reliability Leader Operations Support Leader to ensure the area delivers its business plan and targets. You'll lead process improvement projects, facilitate knowledge transfer to operations employees, and maintain a full knowledge of the area's performance on quality and productivity. You'll also be responsible for following the Management of Change Process and Process Safety Systems to ensure that equipment changes and their impacts are understood and controlled.
The standard hours for this role will be 7.30am - 4pm, but this can be negotiated and is flexible.
What we're looking for: Degree in Mechanical Engineering: A relevant qualification is essential. Six Sigma and Lean Methodologies: Knowledge and experience in these areas are crucial. Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills and a proven track record of identifying and implementing process improvements. EHS Focus: A strong focus on Environmental, Health, and Safety standards. Why Laminex?
