Our team is growing, and we are currently recruiting for an Experienced Process Engineer to join our team in our Brisbane office.
About the Role Ensure process engineering design and documentation is consistent with study and project scope & objectives. Develop and assist in development of the following:
Process Design Criteria (PDC) Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) Piping and Instrument Diagrams (P&IDs) Control philosophies and tables Process equipment sizing Heat and mass balances and models Trade-off studies, operating cost estimates & high-level financial models Provide process engineering and mineral processing expertise all the way through engineering phases from conceptual design, front-end engineering and detailed design and similarly develop connections in the wider Ausenco to leverage capabilities. Apply innovative solutions and technological developments that bring greater value to clients. Work in collaboration with the broader team. Capable of prioritising and delivering work in a fast-moving environment. Develop technical specifications and designs to meet project specific objectives. Interpret engineering drawings, documents, specifications, and scopes.
About You Degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Mineral Processing, Extractive Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering or similar. 5+ years of solid experience in the mineral processing industry with practical experience working in other engineering companies or working on EPCM projects or studies at various levels on the owners' side. Ability to adjust to change quickly and adapt to new requirements. Experienced in mill, concentrator and/or metallurgical plant design – particularly for base and precious metals. Knowledge of engineering workflow process and working knowledge of industry process related software, codes and standards. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify underlying principles or facts associated with information or data to draw conclusions. Operational experience at mines, mineral processing or metallurgical facilities, including solving problems and/or expanding production.
