About The Role We are looking for a talented  Production Engineer  to join our Operations Team based at either at our Brisbane or Adelaide Facility on a 12 month contract (with view to permanent).
As a Production Engineer you will play a pivotal role in optimizing production processes, ensuring seamless integration of design and manufacturing to deliver high-quality, custom-built Doors and Louvres.
Ensure accurate BOMs are created and maintained.
Ensure all critical components are included on the BOM.
Guarantee accurate auxiliary work instructions including but not limited to schematics work instructions and documents are available to the production team for all jobs.
Manage Engineering Change Process.
Oversee change throughout the manufacturing process.
Establish and maintain the part number philosophy Implement process improvement, evaluate and improve production processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste and maintain high-quality standards.
Support the implementation of LEAN Practices.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, procurement, and logistics, to ensure seamless production processes.
Ideally you will be results oriented with a hands-on approach and a sense of responsibility and ownership.
You will bring strong technical knowledge; operating with a high level of structure, energy and autonomy and the ability to work in cross functional teams.
3+ years' experience in a similar role within manufacturing Self-driven, resilient, and want to succeed and own the accountability of the role Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to foster relationships Motivated to grow and develop yourself and overall capability Able to engage broadly, multi-task, and have strong systems / analytical skills This is an exciting time to be part of a truly dynamic company and industry.
