Your focus will be on designing, maintaining, and optimising automated systems and process controls to enable safe, efficient, and sustainable operations.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
Developing and implementing advanced control strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity.Performing regular maintenance and upgrades on control systems and machinery to ensure optimal performance.Analysing process data to identify trends and areas for improvement.Ensuring all control systems and processes comply with industry regulations and safety standards while proactively identifying and mitigating risks.Continuously seeking out and implementing new technologies and methodologies to improve process controls and operational efficiency.Working with cross-functional teams, including Operations and Maintenance, to ensure the seamless integration and operation of control systems.What is Required? Our ideal candidate will have some post-graduation experience in process control, ideally gained within a mineral processing plant or refinery.
Other key skills, experience, and qualifications:
A tertiary degree in Control Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.Experience with PLCs and SCADA.About Wodgina Located 120 kilometres south of Port Hedland in the Pilbara region of Western Australia, Wodgina is one of the world's largest known hard rock lithium deposits.
