We currently have exciting opportunities for Full Time Temporary (12 month Seasonal) Process Cheesemaker's to join our operations team.Reporting into the Team Lead - Process, you will be responsible for the operation of a complete product process which requires a sound knowledge of product specifications at our manufacturing sites in Colac. Please note, a pre-employment medical including a drug & alcohol screen will be required as part of the recruitment process, following successful interview. Hours (rotating roster): Successful applicants will be required to work on a rotating roster across multiple days and shift times. Shift 1: 12am – 8am Shift 2: 8am - 4pm Shift 3: 4pm – 12am Pay: Rates from $29 per hour with increases after 1 & 3 months Additional penalty rates and allowances apply! Your responsibilities will include: Observe processes and initiate appropriate corrective actions Participate in the routine setup, dismantling, cleaning and reassembly of machine and equipment Transfer products to and from processes or storage Maintain a safe and hygienic working environment Use equipment as per safety instructions, and wear protective clothing and equipment as required Collect and identify samples Record information appropriate to the production and testing processes Assist in the provision of training in conjunction with coordinators/trainers Undertake training appropriate to the role, as well as personal and group development Perform other duties up to the level of this classification as directed. Promote Safety, Quality and Process within the business. Participate in continuous improvement activities as required.
