Probity Investigator

A unique opportunity to fill two (2) permanent flexible full-time Probity Investigator positions exists in the Office of Liquor and Gaming Regulation.
In this role, you will be involved in assessing the suitability of individuals and corporations to be associated with the Queensland liquor and gaming industries while providing a high level of client service.
You will need to have strong communication, organisation and written skills, be highly motivated and focused on delivering outcomes.Key Responsibilities:Reviewing agreements and arrangements to determine their appropriateness to operate in a highly regulated environment and report issues identified.Preparing correspondence for the consideration of the Queensland Liquor and Gaming Commissioner.Evaluating financial statements, annual reports, audit reports and other returns required to be lodged.Undertaking analysis of financial accounts to determine financial viability and stability of liquor and gaming applicants and participants.Collaborating with inter-jurisdictional regulators regarding suitability matters.Assisting in procurement processes where required for outsourcing work associated with major investigations.Preparing briefing notes, Governor in Council minutes and other reports and make recommendations for the Manager's consideration.What we offer:The flexibility to work from home up to 2 days per week, while being based at our Brisbane office.A rewarding role with professional development opportunities on offer.A highly supportive culture that values diversity and inclusion while contributing to team success.Applications to remain current for 12 months.
