Team Manager - Woolworths Fairfield Central (March 2025 commencement) Lead our cleaning and trolley collection teams Develop your leadership skills by taking on all people-related tasks for your team and collaborating with various stakeholders to provide outstanding service This is a full-time salaried role and is best suited to an individual with flexible availability to work across early mornings, days, late nights, and weekends.

Welcome to the Proactive Services Team Here at Woolies, we have a team called Proactive Services that ensures trolleys are available to use and that our stores are in pristine condition - this enables our Customers (and your colleagues) to experience an environment that is hygienically clean to work and shop in.
You'll work side-by-side with your team whilst bringing a little good to everyone, every day.
What you'll do As a Team Leader, you'll lead and develop a team, ensuring that all cleaning and trolley collection tasks are completed to a high standard.
Coach and train your team, developing their skills in trolley collection, cleaning and waste support.
Create a roster for your team to ensure that all daily tasks and operations are covered Work with the Store Leadership teams to identify challenges, areas of opportunity and upcoming priorities Develop succession plans through coaching to increase team productivity and improve overall satisfaction Complete time and attendance activities for your team members, such as tracking hours, managing absences, and ensuring compliance with company policy.
Order all consumables for your stores, such as cleaning supplies, and maintain these within a budget In addition to your regular duties, you will spend some of your time working as part of the Proactive Services Team, providing cleaning, trolley collection and waste management services.
What you'll bring You'll bring an ambitious mindset, a love of retail, and a passion for people to a promising role with room to grow your career in the cleaning and trolley collection space and beyond.
Flexibility to work in different environments such as the shop floor, fridges, freezers and carparks A good eye for cleanliness and small details Physical fitness is essential for this role, as it involves physically demanding tasks.
The ability to comfortably handle the physical requirements of the role is crucial to ensure success and maintain a safe working environment The ability to work with other Department Managers and the Store Leadership Team to plan and coordinate routines and timeframes You need to be organised to make sure your team has all the equipment and supplies they need to work safely and efficiently Comfortable working with a regulated framework (Food Safety, industrial regulations, code of conducts etc) A valid full Australian drivers licence (Green P's or full licence) is essential as you may collect trolleys using our vehicles Note: Woolworths Group is an inclusive, team-first company committed to breaking down institutional barriers that keep people from reaching their potential.
