About the role:
As a Pro Bono & Responsible Business Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting our Pro Bono Lead and Responsible Business Manager. You'll be involved in the day-to-day running of our Foundation, which includes pro bono legal services, community volunteering, and charitable contributions. Your work will directly contribute to helping disadvantaged individuals, marginalised groups, and not-for-profit organisations gain access to justice and other essential services.
Working closely with our small, dynamic team, you'll assist in implementing key initiatives, including our Reconciliation Action Plan, and help drive our community engagement activities. This role offers you the opportunity to develop and expand your administrative and project management skills, while also helping to shape the firm's pro bono and responsible business strategy.
The role is based in our Sydney office working part-time, 4 days per week.
Key responsibilities will include:
Provide comprehensive administration support to the Head of Pro Bono and Responsible Business Manager. Assist with the implementation of all pro bono and community engagement activities, projects and strategy. Assist to grow, develop and implement the firm's Reconciliation Action Plan; Coordinate internal and external communications related to pro bono and community activities Develop excellent working relationships with internal and external clients Assist with travel bookings, expense management, and report preparation Participate in ad hoc projects and tasks as directed About you:
