FLEX is offering either a part-time or full-time position to an experienced physio.
We'd love to find someone who has strong assessment, clinical reasoning and manual therapy skills, as well as an interest in exercise for active rehabilitation.
This could be either in clinical pilates or gym-based exercise rehabilitation.
(Exercise physiologists with pilates training are also welcome to apply.

Some of our physios have extra training for headache and migraine assessment and treatment as part of our FLEX Headache Clinic, while others are more interested in back issues or sports injuries.

We offer 45-minute initial consults, 30-minute follow-ups, and 45-minute extended consults so we have time to assess thoroughly and treat holistically - not just the symptoms, but finding and addressing the underlying cause.
By scheduling longer appointments, it helps us do our best and offers great job satisfaction.

Weekly in-house professional development, including case reviews, topics and skills-based in-services, and access to online resources.Annual professional development budget to contribute towards external PD courses.A structured 1-year training and mentoring program for new and younger staff to help them grow and thrive.At FLEX we value an active rehabilitation approach where we help clients understand their own body, its issues and underlying causes, and use targeted exercise prescription to address their issues.
This usually includes home exercises, but may also include GYM or Pilates sessions or group classes at FLEX.We have recently expanded to include a GYM, offering SOLO 1:1 sessions, as well as PHYSIOfit classes with individualized programming, and GYMfit group fitness classes.We offer clinical Pilates MAT classes, reformer SOLO and TRIO sessions.We are looking for a Physiotherapist who: Offers a mix of hands-on techniques, education, and exercises, choosing to use an appropriate balance of these skills for each patient.Demonstrates a high standard of clinical decision-making and reflective practice, integrating evidence-based practice with clinical experience.Has strong communication and teaching skills.Has a strong team attitude, collaborative working, and willingness to ask for help or suggestions when required.Wants to continue learning and improving - (please include a list of the recent PD courses you've enjoyed.
)Holds a Physiotherapy bachelor or master's degree.Holds full and current AHPRA registration and APA membership.Where might you fit?
