This role offers more social working hours, Monday-Friday with only occasional weekends and so could be a good option for any medical professionals still wanting to stay in the role with more flexible working hours.
This role would suit experienced medical professionals, ideally with clinical trial knowledge; however, training can be provided for the right person.
About the Role
As a key member of the clinical research team, you will be responsible for the conduct and oversight of clinical trials, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and data integrity.
You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including sub-investigators, research coordinators, and other healthcare professionals, to drive the success of our clinical studies.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage clinical trials, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
Provide mentorship and support to junior staff, ensuring a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
Engage with participants, ensuring their welfare and addressing any concerns throughout the trial process.
Collaborate with recruitment partners to enhance participant enrolment and retention strategies.
Conduct ongoing evaluations of study protocols and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Maintain strong relationships with sponsors, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders.

What We Are Looking For

Qualifications: Medical degree with unrestricted General or Specialist Registration with AHPRA.
Experience: Proven track record as a Principal Investigator or Clinical Trial Investigator, with experience in clinical trials.
Open to training medical professionals looking to change to clinical trials.
Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with a compassionate and patient-centred approach.
