An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and results-driven Private Credit Analyst/Associate to join a leading financial services firm. This role offers the chance to be part of a seasoned investment team, working collaboratively to achieve superior results. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be involved in end-to-end investment processes, including due diligence and transaction execution for private debt investments.Position: Private Credit Analyst/AssociateSalary: Competitive and based on experienceLocation: SydneyWith a flat hierarchy that supports new ideas and approaches, this firm offers mentorship and dynamic career opportunities within a fast-growing environment.What you'll do:Support preliminary transaction evaluationAssist senior team members with debt investment due diligenceAssist with financial modellingDraft credit submissions and reports for new and increased portfolio investmentsAssist in reporting and analysis of investment performanceManage underlying investments including collating and assessing information from clientsWork closely with key internal stakeholders through a transaction's life cycleHandle other ad-hoc tasks as requiredWhat you bring:At least 2 years of relevant experience in leveraged finance, banking or private debtIntermediate skills in financial analysis and financial modellingUnderstanding of three-way financial statements and common debt financial covenantsExperience with writing credit papersIntermediate skills in Excel, PowerPoint and WordWillingness and ability to learn in a fast-paced environmentFull permanent Australian working rightsWhat sets this company apart:This company stands out as a leading financial services firm with a focus on private debt investments and funds management.
