This role will have a primary focus working on complex privacy and data protection matters for both public and private sector clients, but will also include frontend IT contracting work, with a particular focus on the privacy and data protection aspects of technology and other contracts.The roleWorking with a national group of specialised privacy, cyber and IT lawyers, partners and consultants, you will assist clients in achieving their business and policy objectives. Your role will be varied and challenging, covering general privacy advisory (Commonwealth and State), Spam Act, FOI, cyber advisory (including specialist regimes such as the SOCI Act), privacy impact assessments, data breach response, and frontend contracting advice, drafting and negotiation.This is an ideal opportunity to be involved in a range of interesting and intellectually stimulating matters, and to work alongside our cyber and technology consulting teams.As a senior lawyer you will be working with both public and private sector clients. These clients trust MinterEllison with their biggest and most complex matters.
