Tasmania Prison Service (TPS) has prison facilities located at Risdon Vale, Hobart, and Launceston. This position is based at Risdon Vale in the Visitor Reception Centre.The Risdon Vale site offers a diverse work environment without the hustle and bustle of city centre traffic, free on-site parking and access to the on-site staff gym (or head across the road to Risdon Brook Dam for a walk at lunch time). We are a short drive to local shops and services, however there is no need to worry about parking when you return as there is plenty (and did we mention it's free!).Hours per fortnight73.5 hours per fortnight shift work on a 7 day roster.
