About the Role The successful candidate will be responsible for quoting day-to-day jobs in a timely manner.
The Estimating Role is critical to support the Sales and Production teams to ensure they achieve their sales and production targets.
The role includes liaising with our clients on a daily basis, generating quotations from specifications supplied, and sourcing and ordering raw materials, consumable parts, and third-party services from outside suppliers.
Key Responsibilities: Ensure that all quotes are completed accurately and in a timely mannerEnsure all quotes are built in the most economical way for productionBuild strong relationships with Sales and Production teamsShare new knowledge and learnings with team members and work collaboratively to meet clients' expectationsManage costs and solutions for continuous improvementEnsure administrative systems, policies, procedures, and protocols are followedAbout You To be successful in this role you will need:
Previous experience in the print industryAbility to multi-task and prioritize with excellent time management skillsStrong interpersonal communication skillsHigh attention to detail and strong numerical skillsMotivated self-starterYou will have previous experience either in estimating or production and will have the drive and passion to be successful.
You will be technically minded and able to quote work quickly and accurately, maintaining professionalism in all dealings and managing outside suppliers.
