About the role We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Print Room Supervisor which will be based within our clients print centre (based in the SE Suburbs). The Print Room Supervisor is a key contributor within the VIC Direct Service team. In this role you will provide the full provision of services including print production and the preparation and distribution of print work.
The role requires a multifaceted and agile approach, given its customer service nature and day-to-day functioning of the print centre. If you enjoy solving problems and exceeding client expectations, this role will be perfect for you.
Ideal Candidate To be qualified for this position, ideally you will have previous experience in a similar role, or your background and skills will comprise of the following:
Print room production and document composition dutiesEnsuring high quality internal and external documents are produced in the print centre.Providing offline finishing binding, scoring, and laminatingUtilising job submission software to receive and manage print requests.Managing overflow and specialty requirements with outsourced print partnersPre-production document design, editing and imposition to suit the individual job requirements.Basic level trouble shooting on production printers.Valet duties as required during any print room downtime – including but not limited to providing first level response on equipment failures, issues escalation, ad hoc customer user training, ordering and changing of toner and other consumables as required and filling paper trays.Knowledge & Experience & Requirements Self-motivated and comfortable working autonomouslyAbility to provide exceptional customer service using various communication methods such as face to face interactions, over the phone and via emailProven experience as a print room operatorFlexible, willing to assist, comfortable to meet deadlines in line with SLA'sEnjoy collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, including 3rd party suppliersFamiliar with KM Production equipment would be advantageousGood understanding of the end-to-end production workflowSound skills in:Microsoft office applicationsAdobe CCJob Tickets – TrelloGraphic designQuotingWide formatIT network and software application-related troubleshooting experience will be very highly regarded.This role will need to deliver finished products around the client campus and therefore a level of physical fitness will be required.As per Konica Minolta compliance procedures, the successful candidate will therefore be required to undertake background checks including a Working with Children check.
