Principal Workforce Clinical Advisor - Health and WellbeingSeeking all experienced Psychologists, Social Workers, and Occupational Therapists - Be a part of an enthusiastic and driven team in a newly established role!

In this role, you will lead the development, implementation and evaluation of systems designed to effectively deliver professional workplace health, psychosocial safety and wellbeing and rehabilitation and return to work services provided by Workforce Safety and Wellbeing.
The Workforce Division Unit comprises approximately 40 human resource practitioners who provide a high quality, client focused and value adding human resource service to management and staff throughout the Central Queensland Hospital and Health Service.
CQ Health's Workforce Division plays an integral role in the effective management of the people resources for our service. The Division takes the lead role in the attraction, retention, learning and development, performance, discipline, change management, safety and well-being, and engagement of our most important asset - 'our people'.
About the role:The position provides high level advice and support in the application of workplace health and safety, workplace rehabilitation, workers compensation and organisational wellbeing so as to assist CQHHS achieve safe, healthy and supportive workplaces and work practice for staff.
You will be the point of contact for CQHHS staff regarding complex health, wellbeing and rehabilitation and return to work issues and challenges and will apply advanced allied health professional knowledge, communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills to ensure CQHHS compliance with relevant legislation, standards, and codes of practice in collaboration with key stakeholders.
About you:Mandatory qualification/s: Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and/or registration with the appropriate registration authority, including any necessary endorsements, to be provided to the employing service prior to the commencement of duty.
Social WorkOccupational TherapyDemonstrated advanced level of allied health knowledge and expertise in a relevant discipline, as well as knowledge of contemporary and best-practice approaches to health and safety risk management and ability to apply this knowledge strategically to deliver innovative solutions to complex issues, to enhance health service outcomes.
What we offer:Salary information: Total remuneration value of up to $172,615 p.a. is comprised of:
