The company has a successful track record of supporting Network Service Providers and Renewable Energy Developers in connecting projects to transmission and distribution networks.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Principal Transmission Lines Engineer (Civil/ Structure) in our GridLinkx department (Sydney, Perth or Adelaide).
The Principal Transmission Lines Engineer will be joining as a member of the strongest technical leadership team of Lines Engineering in Asia Pacific.
S/he will have the opportunity to lead a large lines engineering team and will oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of transmission line projects.
Tasks will include technical support, troubleshooting, communication with various stakeholders, and networking within the industry.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide technical support and troubleshooting skillsDemonstrate strong communication and networking abilitiesLead the design, implementation, and maintenance of transmission line projectsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical/ Mechanical or Civil & Structural Engineering or related fieldChartered Professional Engineer (CPENG) accreditation is preferredExperience in high-voltage transmission line design (AC and/or DC up to 500kV)Practical understanding of tower design from inception to mass fabricationProven knowledge of Australian, ASCE, BSEN and IEC industry standards and regulationsIn return, we will offer you:Attractive Salary Package based on your experienceFast tracked career progression opportunities for high performersProfessional career development through major power projects and industry networksThis is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a professional and friendly team.If this opportunity sounds of interest, please submit your resume in PDF Format.
