Job Description: Principal Tech Lead
Role Overview: We are seeking a hands-on Principal Tech Lead with a strong technical foundation and a knack for solving complex problems. This role is pivotal as both an individual contributor and a tech lead, dedicating 50% of time to technical coding/engineering and the remaining 50% to driving business outcomes. You will collaborate closely with product owners to ensure technical objectives are met within the digital domain, fostering growth and operational efficiency.
This will be a hybrid working role in Sydney (flexibility with working from home).
Key Responsibilities: Indirectly leading multiple squads, ensuring delivery against business goals.Define technical direction, set strategy frameworks, and engage in hands-on coding to develop new portals and large scale applications.Influence senior leaders and structure to enhance perspective and efficiency.Focus on scalability challenges, extending and reusing platforms across regions on a shared infrastructure.Drive quarterly agile planning and OKR setting, aligning technology needs with business objectives to achieve key results. Requirements: Strong technical background with ability to be hands-on with the coding.Ability to blend technical expertise with business acumen and effective communicate to various stakeholders in the business.Experience in delivering complex projects with demonstrable achievements.Proficiency in either .NET, Java, and/or Angular Familiarity with DevSecOps principles preferred.Understanding of automation, testing, and engineering to solution design.
